You can stay healthy and still be romantic! Try this easy chicken salad that will be kind to both your waistlines whilst bringing you closer together.

Lover’s tip: get your partner into the kitchen and have him help you prepare it.


You will need:

1 cup, chopped cooked chicken breast

1 cup, diced red apple, unpeeled

¼ cup, diced celery

¼ cup, chopped walnuts

1 cup, seedless grapes, halved

1/3 cup, mayonnaise

½ cup teaspoon, minced ginger

¼ teaspoon, paprika

1 teaspoon, lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste


Mix all the fruits and vegetables together

Toss slightly with lemon juice

Stir in walnuts, chicken and mayonnaise

Add salt and pepper to taste

Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour for flavors to meld

Serve on a bed of lettuce
